Hey dogs, I'm doing a new label project called Forest Temple. For those who don't know I was the main force behind Gorgeous Industries which was retired for an infinite list of reasons. I'm on the hunt for collaborators in the areas of visual art, music and marketing/ business. The musical genres that I'm interested in could be called post hardcore, art metal, arty math-rock, i think you get my drift.
As you may know the typical profit margin for such an endeavor tends to reside in the negative balance. So... my motivation is primarily of a creative nature however I do believe that a profit can be generated and if so, is a benefit to the overall motivation and climate. I am not interested in a partner but would very much enjoy colaberating with people who are highly motivated and talented, preferably in a variety of mediums and business applications.
The current Canadian music landscape is very exciting to me. Ive been seriously involved in punk/ hardcore/ post hardcore and what have you for about 20 years and have never before seen such an expansive batch of rad bands from this country.
Replying to this requires some personal discretion/ assessment. I operate at a higher than average level in most of my activities and at a rather fast pace. I'm looking to work alongside serious, diplomatic, driven creative types to push what's going on along in an awesome way.
Having said all that, please do not feel intimidated to contact me. Just be certain about your abilities and your level of commitment.
