Age Sixteen make heat look like ice! Anton Bordman bass/drum duo. old, gone, great. fast and chaotic. www.myspace.com/antonbordman (isn't really their page, just some tunes) Branch Breaker 5 piece, dead and gone. Maryland's doing something right. www.myspace.com/branchbreakerArse Moreira Trio. Fast/slow (mainly fast) quiet/loud (mainly loud) Short songs... LOVE IT! www.myspace.com/arsemoreiraKasa A little more straight up punk, with enough twists and turns to keep it interesting. They seem to like gang vocals a whole bunch. www.myspace.com/kasabandHey, Predator! 3 guitar assault! YES! Tight as could be and catchy as hell! www.myspace.com/heypredatorNothing too crushing... Oh well.

Finding some awesome (new to me) stuff from this. Keep it coming!
Hey, I need Some heavy breakdowns without the metal/ metalcore/ deathcore if that even exists. For reference, I dig certain Coalesce & early Disembodied but that stuff is barely crushing enough. Some of the deathcore stuff comes close but they always ruin it with blasting and stock metal pre/post slow business. Also the tough image/ attitude styles are a mega turnoff.

cuddlebert! i love in first person, but if you think that's the heaviest 90s hardcore, you need some expsoure to heavy hardcore from the 90s. i will show you the path young squire
top 5 for the week of july 6/09:
Artillery - By Inheritance danish 80's thrash band. classic. a thinking person's thrash band
Graves at Sea / Asunder Split best material by both of these bands. maximum doomage.
Battle of Wolf 359 - the death of affect just released on react with protest. awesome set of kids. their almost celtic take on heavy screamo rules pretty hard
Barn Burner - Bangers get's me so stoked on life. sort of like a crusty iron maiden mixed with thin lizzy.
EPMD - Back in Business da-nah da da dah-nah. it's da joint. because i can't listen to metal/hardcore all the time.
